How do you see an unseen God?
-An encounter is an experience of the physical expression of God’s
grace and goodness.
God can meet us in different ways.
[Luke 9:28-36]
-Moses represents the law
-Elijah represents the prophets
-Jesus’s transfiguration was an encounter that was a fulfillment to
God’s promises.
1.(v32)
God shows up and sends us forward
-Following Jesus forward even when the going gets tough and you’re exhausted
(v28)
2.(v30)
God shows up and sends us forth
-Moving forward into God-given call even when the situation does not add up to your expectations.
3.(v36)
God shows up and sends us out.

-Receiving power from the Holy Spirit and sent out to be a witness for Jesus.

At some point in our life, we waited for something. Sometimes we get impatient due to the wait.
There is power in waiting.
Choosing to give up waiting, will result in a different outcome.
Imagine: if you are a follower of Christ back in Jesus’ time. He is taken away, how will you feel?
Jesus said that the holy spirit would come. Will you wait for the holy spirit?
how to invite your friend? a) Pray that the Holy Spirit accompanies you. b) Pray against rejection c) Pray that your friends’ heart will soften.
Stand firm on the word of God. People might perceive us as crazy people, but it does not matter. We do it all for God.
We must not make light of testimonies.
When something bad happened, always remember, something good will happen next.
When you proclaim something great, it’s a prophetic utterance.
Speak into somebody’s salvation. Use social medias as a platform to display God’s goodness.

There are like 3 things we must have when we’re on mission trips or something along that line :3
1) Compassion
[Matthew 5:39]
God’s love in our life would drive us to love others .
We need to have Agape love. When we have Agape love , you can love everyone.
2) Faith
[Luke 5:20]
It’s very east to start something but very hard to maintain .
When you face troubles, You must have faith okay!
God can heal people through your faith ! So have faith! :)
When you face troubles, take time, don’t give up or run away!
Faith is very important as it will help you keep doing things because one day something will happen.
3) Willing to pay any cost.
The 4 man are willing to pay any cost to get him in front of God, Are you willing to pay any price?
Maybe the main problem is sin , we need to have an encounter of God .
Salvation is very important in our life :)

-We have the responsibility to be the power of the Cross
Authority-The right to do something

-We have the right,authority and power to do something.
-Every believer has an open heaven
-No power can block the fellowship with you and God.
-Look beyond rejection
The shadows will always release what over shadows us.
-If there’s opposition,be happy.

-Our report card is God’s report card.

Sarah Lin: The Cross
1st Thing About The Cross: A price that someone had to pay.
Adam and Eve ate that apple. Romans 3:23 We have all fallen short of the Glory of God. Despite of all our wrong doings, God still forgives us and showers us with his love!
Romans 6 Slaves to sin. We are held hostage, we are kidnapped. It happens very subtly. Sometimes we do not realize that we are slaves to a certain sin. Therefore, a ransom is needed. God asked: “name your price” And the price was Jesus.
Romans 10:10 That price is a very high price. Why don’t we give enough value to ourselves if we are worth that much? put in value! Don’t let circumstances devalue us. Something of high value, needs to be protected. Guard your destiny. Guard your callings. Guard your relationships. Don’t dilute your relationship with God, renew it everyday.
Guard the seeds of your life. Your destiny is great but you must do something about it!
Make sure the opportunities you get does not rob you of your value.
Choose your close friends wisely. Friends that will fight for your destiny. Friends that don’t devalue you.
